Question by fragmentsofmemories: Wedding Registry Etiquette?
My fiance and I are getting married in 3 months. (October of this year) I’ve already made a wedding registry at Wal-Mart. But the thing is, we already have all the basics that we need: dishes, silverware, towels, rugs, bedding, bath accessories/toiletries, computer desk, TV, TV stand, organizers….etc. I don’t want people spending an insane amount of money either, because times are hard on everyone right now. My question is, would it be okay to put things like a baby stroller, baby clothes, and maybe some baby toys on our wedding registry? Because we’re planning on having kids about 5-6 months after getting married. But I’m NOT going to put food (I plan on BF) or diapers on the registry either. At the same time, I don’t want people thinking that I’m pregnant, because I’m not. This question is actually all about me and my fiance trying to PLAN for children, and we’re in our late 20′s btw, so please no stupid or rude comments about age. I’m old enough to know. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.
PLEASE read the question FIRST before making comments. Thanks.
I get it, thanks.
And no, I’m not insane. I’ve never been married before, so excuse me for asking. You don’t have to be rude.

I would save the baby stuff for a baby registry. That is what they are for! Plus I think people would think you are pregnant if you put it on there and that’s not something that you want!
A neat idea that has just come around are honeymoon registries. They are perfect for people who already have the basics! Instead of people buying you gifts they can donate money to your honeymoon so it doesn’t cost you so much!
